Our 5 favourite things about Glen Eden: A local’s guide.

By Tihana Vlasich

We’re not just real estate agents in Glen Eden; we’re passionate locals. We live here, we work here, and we love this part of West Auckland.

If you’re new to the area (or just want to find a new favourite spot), here’s our “honest” guide to the best of Glen Eden.

  1. The Waitākere Ranges on your doorstep: This is our biggest backyard. Having world-class bushwalks and stunning views just a few minutes’ drive away is incredible. It’s the perfect “energetic” weekend escape.
  2. The Train Line: This is a boring but “honest” one. The train makes life so much simpler. It’s our secret weapon for a stress-free commute, getting you into the city for work or a show without the traffic.
  3. The “Human” Village Vibe: Glen Eden town centre has a real, “approachable” community feel. You’ve got great local bakeries, butchers, and cafes where people remember your name.
  4. The Artistic Side: From the local art galleries to the creative vibe coming from nearby Titirangi, there’s an “energetic” and creative spirit here that you won’t find in a new subdivision.
  5. The Parks and Playgrounds: For families, this is a huge win. From the big open fields of Parrs Park to the local hidden gems, there’s always a place to take the kids or walk the dog.

We love our community. If you’re thinking of joining it, give us a bell! We’d love to chat about what makes this area so special.
